RIL Webinar: Urban Physics – The science and engineering of sustainable buildings and cities

Welcome to the webinar ”Urban Physics – The science and engineering of sustainable buildings and cities”, which will be held November 3rd, 8:00-9:00.

The guest speaker of the webinar is Jonathon Taylor, an associate professor (tenure track) in urban physics at Tampere University, funded through the Sustainable Transformation of Urban Environments (STUE) platform.

In this webinar, Taylor will introduce urban physics and how it can help to address some of the grand challenges in urban environments. He will also describe his plans to develop the research area of urban physics at Tampere University and how collaboration is essential with other fields to deliver impactful results.
