About the conference series
PHN17 Helsinki is the 8th conference in the Nordic series of seminars on passive houses held alternately in Finland, Norway, Sweden and Denmark. Nordic Passive House conference series aims to share knowledge and find new holistic solutions for very low-energy and nearly zero-energy buildings. The conferences gather North-European building professionals increasing the awareness and acceptance of very low-energy buildings in construction market.
The conference welcomes new and innovative solutions for adaptive and interactive energy efficient buildings and districts including but not restricted to:
- Concepts for new and renovated net-zero-energy and plus-energy buildings and districts (including local renewable energy production and architectural solutions for passive energy saving design)
- Low carbon buildings and neighbourhoods in a life cycle perspective
- Energy-efficient indoor climate solutions for comfort and productivity
- Smart design, operation and management (including digitalization, sensors, data analysis and visualization)
- Highly insulated and energy efficient constructions and systems (including long-term performance, air-tightness, moisture performance, low embedded energy and reuse of materials)
- Energy-flexible and resilient communities and districts (including short and long-term storage solutions and smart and adaptive energy consumption)
- Business models for performance contracting
